This cabochon is graded AAAA Gel Grade for its cut and polish, transparency, unique blue color saturation, and origin of rough. This cabochon is translucent to transparent. Chalcedony is a type of quartz that's a member of the silicate mineral family. It's a fine-grained, cryptocrystalline form of silica, made up of quartz and moganite that intergrow in a very fine way. Chalcedony has a waxy luster, a compact fibrous structure, and a fine splintery fracture.

It can be translucent or opaque, and comes in a wide range of colors, including blue, gray, yellow, brown, black, orange, pink, red, and white. Crystal Structure: (Trigonal) fibrous aggregates. Color: Bluish, White, Gray, Orange, Red, Green, Purple.
